Best solution for ingrown toenails?

both my toenails hurt, but it's minor pain (and it's not because of my sneakers I wear), and I'm trying to find the perfect non-going-to-the-doctor treatment that I can do at home. My dad said something about soaking my feet with hydrogen peroxide for maybe a half hour once everyday. But I'm searching for the perfect solution, and others are saying to soak them in warm water for 15-20 minutes, use salt or epsom salts and mix with warm water. What would you say is the recommended solution to my minor painful ingrown toenails?Best solution for ingrown toenails?
Self-care can be very effective if you are experiencing the very beginnings of a toenail's digging laterally into the toe's soft tissues. Take some drugstore collodion liquid, and coat a wisp of cotton with it. Then, slip the resulting moistened material into the space between the nail and the fleshy fold. As the collodion dries, the cotton forms and acts as a wedge between the toenail and the fleshy fold. So, as the sharp edge of the toenail grows, it will move past the toe's protruding flesh and thus avoid cutting into the soft parts. To avoid the problem completely, file the nail margins thin with an emery board to reduce the pressure on them and trim the nails straight across with toenail clippers.Best solution for ingrown toenails?
Try a wider toe box on your shoes, now is the perfect time for sandals, so that your forefoot is not crowded into shoes that cause more irritation to the toes. If it is indeed ingrown nails, eventually you will have to have them fixed. THe best way to think of ingrown toenail is like a splinter, until it is out the nail will continue to cause you problems. If they're THAT painful see a pediotrist, he will numb your toe, %26amp; remove that portion that needs it removed, if you don't take care of this it only gets worse, %26amp; your toenails will keep getting worse. I had mine done, %26amp; I am glad I did. The specialist removed about 1/8 of an inch of toenail from my big toe on each foot. My brother didn't do anything with his except kept trimming them, and not only is this the wrong thing to do, his kept getting smaller %26amp; smaller, and have never grown in right. Get it corrected soon! It is the best way to get rid of this painful situation! as it is beyond home remedies when you are in pain! You will be glad in the long run that you did! Then they will grow back correctly! I hope this helps!
i hve an ingrown toenail too and it hurts alot especially when i dance....... um you can go to the salon and say tha you dont want that ingrown toenail anymore well itf your doing a pedicure. and the will use this tool and take it out of the ingrown place..... it hurts when they do it but then you feel so much better.
